Virginia Motorsports Park is ready to hit the drag strip again for racers and race fans at Test & Tune on Friday, May 10! These Friday night Test & Tunes give everyone a chance to hit the track and test their changes and upgrades along with get more track time!

On this event, we will be adding a Gunslinger Friday Night Shootout for Super Pro & Pro ET competitors that will be racing on Saturday, May 11. This will be a pre-entry shootout with entries going live on Wednesday, May 8. Super Pro will run for $3,000 to Win on a $100 Entry Fee while Pro ET will run for $1,500 to Win on a $50 Entry Fee. All fields must have over 55 entries to be fully guaranteed, anything less than 55, winner’s purse will be adjusted with percentage rate of cars entered.

There will be no radial prep for this Test & Tune due to time and scheduling constraints.

We will be calling cars to the lanes designed by type of tire with the following run order: Slick Tire, Jr. Dragsters, Motorcycles, and Street Cars/Tires. By doing so, you will not be standing in the staging lanes for extended periods of time, each group will run as much as possible with one run per session, no hot lapping to get multiple runs in one session.
