June & July Schedule – VP Fuels ET Bracket Series Returns for Remainder of 2020 and More!

As we continue to review statewide executive orders and a number of question marks continue to rise, we at Virginia Motorsports Park continue to work hard and push forward to try and provide everyone a place to escape the world and come enjoy their full-blown race cars and high performance street machines. We have taken into consideration all of the statewide orders, the guidelines and more to come up with a schedule over the next few weeks that tailors to the guidelines and keeps us legal and continue allowing us to open for the racers and teams.

As of June 11, we are still not allowed spectators but we are opening that this changes soon (when it does, we will update). We want to have fans at the track more than you want to be there, we promise! It’s a very odd feeling with just racers and crew members in the pits for events as it takes away a very important feel to the sport and we hope to have that back very soon.

Motorsports in general is excited to be back on the upswing but we still have to continue moving the needle forward by using new technology and pushing the processes forward in motorsports to become more user friendly and up-to-date than ever before. Virginia Motorsports Park is proud to now offer the paperless timeslip application from Dynogeeks! You can download this via the Google Play store and the Apple App store on your smartphone. There will be events where we will use both the app and the paper timeslip while things are still being worked out but we are excited to add this to our facility – you can download the app on your phone by clicking HERE!

Along with the new technology coming into play at Virginia Motorsports Park, we are also going to bring back the VP Racing Fuels ET Bracket Series that we planned earlier this year. We are working on gathering up a handful of prizes, gold, silver and bronze cards and more for the program instead of cash championship prizes as in years past due to the global pandemic. The entry for the 2020 points series will be FREE of charge – if you paid earlier in the year for the series, you will receive a voucher for an entry to any VP Racing Fuels ET Bracket Series event on the calendar for the remainder of 2020. We will revert back to our original payouts and entry fees for the VP Racing Fuels ET Bracket Series events and they can be found below on the series flyer. We are excited to put together a different program than normal but one that will be something exciting to shoot for during this shortened season for our racers and teams who support Virginia Motorsports Park on a regular basis.

Without further ado, listed below is the updated 2020 Schedule for Virginia Motorsports Park for the months of June and July. We may have other amendments but for the next two months, this is what we have on tap and we will hopefully be able to debut a complete schedule for the rest of the year very soon! Be sure to secure the July 11-12 weekend on your calendar for the return of big money bracket racing with the Old Dominion Duels and $10,000 to Win in Super Pro, $5,000 to Win in Footbrake and $300 to Win in Jr. Dragsters – both Saturday and Sunday – along with the debut of TruStart! Mark your calendars, come out and race with us soon!
