Daily Driver Winter Series returns over the off-season for three races over the course of the winter break at Virginia Motorsports Park. In an effort to keep our racing programs going through the entire calendar year, this was dreamed up and began in January of 2023. After a wildly popular opening event and positive feedback, we’ve brought this series back in 2023-2024 off-season with one event per month and starting it off with a Christmas edition!

The same basic event layout stays the same as before, no track prep is done on the racing surface and it’s all bracket racing with your daily driver so anyone can race! A perfect time for people who have never raced before to give it a shot for the first time and when you can have a passenger to help along the way.

*NEW BENEFIT RAFFLE* for the Christmas Edition: We’re going to put together a raffle for race entries into the 2024 season – all you have to do is donate a coat, blanket, winter hat or gloves to receive raffle tickets for FREE – these items will be donated to the Dinwiddie Clothes Closet and other organizations that help the homeless and less fortunate. It’s a perfect chance to give back to the surrounding communities and also possibly be a winner yourself. Coats and blankets will be 10 free raffle tickets while hats and gloves will be 5 free raffle tickets. We will sell additional tickets at racer registration as well for added chances at the prizes and 100% of the proceeds will go to Brandon Layfield in his recovery efforts after an accident in November.
