Country music stars, Chase Matthew and Walker Montgomery will take to the stage for live music and concerts throughout the evening in between rounds on the dragstrip. Chase just dropped a brand-new album and Walker has new singles coming out as well!

On Saturday, July 22, fans will be treated to the most entertaining, jam-packed day of racing and entertainment that they will see all season long at Virginia Motorsports Park. The fan-favorite Top Fuel Dragsters return to VMP for the first time in 2023 with a four-car shootout amongst Larry Dixon, Scott Palmer, Artie Allen and Jacob McNeal. Top Alcohol Dragster will also join the Night of Fire for the first time with an eight-car exhibition where eight of the best in category show down for bragging rights and cash! Robin Stambaugh and Krista Massarella will battle it out in a best two-out-of-three Nostalgia Funny Car match race! Larsen Motorsports Jet Dragsters will light the sky while Rick Ream in his wheelstander will wow the crowd as well!

The PDRA Summit Racing Equipment ProStars all-star race will also be battling it out on the dragstrip on July 22. The best in the series will battle it out for ProStar victories! The stars and cars of the PDRA will fill the pits and give you some of the best racing action on the planet throughout the night as well. Pro Nitrous, Pro Boost, Pro Street, Extreme Pro Stock, Pro 632, Super Street, Elite Top Sportsman, Elite Top Dragster, Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, Pro Jr. Dragster and Top Jr. Dragster all bring the top points earners to the limited field all-star race where they race for free and have huge purses up for grabs!

Racers like Jim Halsey, Tommy Franklin, Jay Cox, Johnny Pluchino, Tim Essick and more are already locked into the ProStars all-star race. We are excited to see the locked-in fields after the PDRA event in Maryland on June 15-17.
