Take It Off The Streets Cancelled for Friday, April 2

Sadly, we’re faced with more cold weather this weekend and it is going to be too cold to run our Take It Off The Streets program this evening. Safety and racer experience are our number one goals on every event and with the temperatures forecasted for today, neither of these would be achieved tonight. Our next Take It Off The Streets event is scheduled for Thursday, May 13 – mark your calendars now!

On a positive note, we are racing on Saturday at both the dragstrip and the Dirtplex! The VP Racing Fuels ET Bracket Series event for Saturday, April 3 is on go. Gates will open at 9pm on Friday night for credentials and overnight parking to prepare for Saturday’s event – with the cold overnight temperatures forecasted – we are adjusting the run schedule for Saturday with a delayed start to give the sun more time to come up, begin warming the racing surface and give everyone the best racing surface possible. We will start with Battery Barn Jr. Dragsters at approximately 10:30am and all four classes will receive ONE time trial, then we will move into eliminations. We will need to run a condensed program to make it possible for us to race with the colder than normal conditions forecasted for Saturday but we want to race as much as you do!

The Inaugural Easter Bash Mud Bog is on GO as well – gates open at 8am on Saturday morning along with racer registration. Drivers meeting will be around 11:30am and the mud bog will start at noon at the Dirtplex.

Follow the signs on the entrance road that will direct you to the Dirtplex or the Drag Strip – Dirtplex to the left down the gravel road, drag strip straight ahead to the main gates.
