Schedule Change for Triple Threat Bracket Series on June 12-13

IMPORTANT SCHEDULE CHANGE FOR TRIPLE THREAT BRACKET SERIES THIS WEEKEND, JUNE 12-13

After reviewing a number of weather forecasts for the past few days, it appears that we are going to fight the dreaded rain all through the day on Thursday and Friday. Instead of asking you all to take hard-earned vacation time at work to sit in the rain, we’re remodeling our schedule for the weekend as early as possible to try and keep you all from wasting vacation days at work and just sitting at the track watching it rain, along with trying to help you save money on hotel rooms and other expenses to not have a foreseeable window to be on track either Thursday or Friday.

Thursday and Friday activities are effectively cancelled and removed from the schedule.

Saturday and Sunday will now feature two $20,000 to Win events, brought to you by FuelTech USA and O’Reilly Auto Parts, for the original $400 weekend entry. Footbrake48 will now run for $3,500 to Win both days, then the winner will roll into Super Pro in the next round of competition, for the original weekend entry. Two main event payouts in two days in both classes! Weekend crew passes have been reduced to $25.00 and a single day pass is $15.00 with the schedule change and have two fewer days of operation.

We hope to be on track by 9:30am on Saturday morning with the opening time trial session of the weekend, but, this is all weather dependent on when the forecasted rains move out of the area. Our staff will be working to get everyone on track as quickly as possible as soon as the rain does stop. As we get closer to Saturday, we will also have a better outlook on when the rains will move out and give us a better idea of what time we can put cars on track.

  • Double entries MUST change their car number on their second run on the vehicle (no hand signals), you must also notify this on your tech card when you turn it in to racer registration/technical inspections in Suite 101 of the timing tower. If you decide to double later in the weekend, please see a race official to make the necessary updates in the Compulink timing system.
  • Entries – a weekend entry can be used in two different ways now as a weekend entry is defined as paying for two $20K entries. If you choose to use both on Sunday or both of Sunday to double enter, this is accepted. Please mark this on your tech card or inform the officials in racer registration so they can mark this on your tech card for you. We need to stay as organized as possible as it can get confusing with multiple entries and trying to avoid cars with doubled up car numbers, etc.
  • Gates will be open all day Thursday for parking only, no purchase of credentials. Credentials will begin to be sold on Friday at 12pm noon. Racer Registration in Suite 101 will be open from 4pm to 9pm on Friday, as well. If you are on the grounds on Friday, please buy your credentials and go to registration so this step is completed and you do not have to do this on Saturday morning before the time trial session.
  • Gold Club Parking is NOT in affect during this event.
  • Grass will be wet after all of the projected rain, please keep this in mind when parking. We have plenty of asphalt and gravel parking to keep all of the rigs out of the grass lots. If you choose to park in the gravel lots to the left of the main entrance road, please pay attention to not park in line with the new pit lighting – the ground is still a little soft (where you can see the difference in dirt/ground color) and will get softer with the rains. We do not want to have to pull anyone out or someone have a bad experience by not being up front about this.
  • MotorManiaTV.com will be live streaming both days of the race. FREE of charge for friends and family that cannot make it to the event in person.
  • New Entry Time Trial on Sunday is meant for drivers and cars that have NOT been down the racetrack before that morning. If you or the car you are driving has made a run at any point in the weekend leading up to the new entry time trial, you are NOT eligible to make a run. We will be checking run stickers.
  • Safety-Kleen used oil station is located on the far left side of the racer pit area, across from the racer gates enclosed in the black fenced in area.
  • VP Racing Fuels will be available both Saturday and Sunday, including drums of M1 methanol and 5-gallon pails of racing gasoline. If you need fuel on Thursday or Friday, please report to the office building that you pass as you drive towards the main racer gate on the left hand side of the road.
